Alignment

From Wizardry Wiki

Player characters have an alignment in the early Wizardry games of the Llylgamyn saga. They can either be good, evil or neutral. Good characters may become evil and vice-versa.

Alignment may be important for using certain equipment. Also, certain character classes are not available to all alignments.

It is also possible that some tasks can only be performed by a character of a certain alignment.

Normally, characters of the opposing alignments good and evil cannot start in the same party from Gilgamesh's Tavern. It is, however, possible to have opposing alignments in a party. This might happen when a character's alignment changes during the game or if a character left in the maze is searched for and picked up by another party.
